Dear Professors and Students of Wesley Theological Seminary:

 

We would like to cause your spiritual alert: your seminary is committing a great sin by co-sponsoring the Chinese Bible Ministry Exhibition with the Chinese Christian Council (CCC) and the Three-self Patriotic Movement Committee (TSPM, or “Three-self”), or the “Protestant Church in China” as they label themselves, which are actually under the leadership of the atheistic Chinese Communist Party (CCP) but not our Lord and God as professed in their mission statement.

You may ask, “Why is co-sponsoring the exhibition a great sin?” We believe that you will find the answer after pondering the following questions with sincere prayer in front of our Lord.  

 

1.      Do you think it is a sin to help a “church” to deceive the world, which leader said: “The word becoming flesh, birth by a virgin, resurrection, trinity, judgment at the end, Jesus’ second coming, etc. are all strange and incredible religious ideas which are not understandable…… I have tried by all means but failed to convince myself to accept these things. What attracted me at the beginning and made me to believe in Christianity is The Beatitudes, the plain teaching by Jesus without any mysterious covering. I do not feel I need the other things (from the Bible). I do not think that my denial of the other things would affect my religious faith.”[1]? If your answer is yes, then co-sponsoring the exhibition is a sin, since the above is the quotation from Wu, Yaozong, the first Chairman of TSPM in 1950’s. This is exactly Wu’s “Christian Faith” and the “Christian” doctrines of the CCC and the TSPM. We believe that you understand now what kind faith it is, a “Christian faith” invented by atheism. The atheistic CCP has been sending the CCC and TSPM to the world to display some showcases such as this exhibition to cover up its evil nature and to deceive the world. 

2.      Do you think it is a sin to help a “church” to deceive the world, which leader said in his response to Jiang, Zeming, the former China President’s calling “to actively lead the religion to fit into the society of socialism”,  “This should be taken as a calling for us religious leaders, a calling for us to reform our every religion to fit into the society of socialism. This includes the elimination of things not fitting with the society of socialism…… and the promotion of the reformation of the religion beliefs so that our change will not end at just political speech or expression of attitude but be reflected at the dilution of any religious things not fitting into the socialism society and the strengthening of those fitting the socialism society. We should probe each religion. Some of the stuff not fitting with the socialism society should be eliminated immediately, and the rest eliminated gradually.”[2]? If your answer is yes, then co-sponsoring the exhibition is a sin since the above is the quotation from Ding, Guangxun, an underground CCP member and the former TSPM Chairman and CCC President (several terms in 1950’s, 1980’s and 1990’s). The current TPSM Chairman, Fu, Xianwei, has also published the similar statement,[3] because he had to; otherwise he would not have been appointed as the TPSM chairman by the CCP who is his real lord.

3.      Do you think it is a sin to help a “church” to deceive the world which leaders are appointed by an atheistic and completely corrupted government that has been persecuting true Christians, distorting Biblical Truth, and deceiving the world? If your answer is yes, then co-sponsoring the exhibition is a sin since all the CCC and TSPM leaders are appointed by the atheistic communism government. The first criteria for such appointment, as emphasized by Hu, Jintao, the current China President, is “to be politically reliable”.[4] They are not only appointed by the government, but also actually the government employees who receive salaries from the government, and preach only what the government allows and pre-approves. Their only job is to carry out the will of the CCP, which is to crush the true Christian churches and believers, to control and mislead the believers by muddling God’s word, and to deceive the world. And they have been responsibly and faithfully fulfilling their job duties all the time. The Bible Ministry Exhibition is a typical scheme that the “angel of light”[5] has been using to deceive the world. They sneak into the faithful house churches under the name of “brothers in Lord”, then collect information, and then give the information to the police to arrest the church leaders and co-workers and shut down the house churches under various framed charges such as “cult” or “illegal gathering”. They filter, twist or dilute some of the main Biblical teachings such as justification through faith, the second coming of Jesus, the end of the world, God’s final judgment through “theology reformation” since these are all very “negative and backward” according to Gao, Feng, the current CCC President. They establish “political studies”[6] in their church system to brainwash the congregation. Due to his great effort and outstanding achievement in “theology reformation” and establishing “political studies”, [7]Ji, Jianhong became the fourth chairman of TSPM in 2002.

In a word, do you think it is a sin to help a cult to deceive the world? Please think about any cult you know, and see if there is a cult dare to openly call for the elimination of the Biblical teachings not fit into socialism and if there is a cult dare to openly declare that they are under the leadership of an atheistic party. Please think about it: whether Jesus Christ would co-work with them or rebuke them, “Away from me, you evildoers!”[8]

Jesus told us, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”[9]  Watch out! Dear brothers and sisters. Now the disguised ravening wolves are coming to you. Do not be their prey. “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith……”[10] “Many deceivers who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist……If anyone comes to you and do not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.”[11]

We believe that your administrative people are fully aware of the nature of these deceivers. We called Jane (202-885-8602) in charge of the exhibition, and she immediately said, “I know what you want to say.” We asked her to get out of this (sin). Her answer was: “We are already involved in.” Further, she said “We feel comfortable to co-sponsor the exhibition after consulting with several Christians leaders.”  Who are those leaders? Ex-President Jimmy Carter? Billy Graham? Or some others who already united with the TSPM? Why not consult with the Holy Spirit? Since your seminary rent Mount Vernon Place UMC for the exhibition, you may want to ask where the money came from, and how much money the CCP gave for helping them to deceive the world. – “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation”!

 

You Professors of the Bible, Students of the Bible, Followers of Christ, Servants of God, Soldiers of the Truth, rise up immediately! “Be strong and courageous!” “Fight the good fight of faith!”[12] Do not let them trap your seminary into this great sin! Do not let them disgrace Jesus Christ again! Do not let them distort God’s word again! Do not let them deceive the believers again! 

 

May Jesus Christ who died on the cross to redeem us, the Holy Spirit who leads us into the Truth, and God who loves and gives us faith and strength, be with you!
